Often recognized for their soulful vocal harmonies and charming performances, The Complements are an acoustic duo that has drawn comparisons to The Civil Wars, Alex & Sierra, and Us The Duo. Comprised of best friends Greg and Alicia, their music has been described as "the sonic representation of a smile," (LEX the Lexicon Artist) and as having "an expensive sound." (Award-winning composer and producer James Gardiner)
Greg is an L.A. native and is a classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist. Alicia grew up in The Netherlands and has a musical theater background. Having released their debut EP of all original songs Lend a Hand in July of 2017, The Complements are active members of the West Coast Songwriters and won two 2017-18 Regional Song of the Year awards for their songs “Slowly” and “Invincible.”
They've enjoyed performing throughout North America, from LA to New York, DC to Nashville, and Hawaii to Vancouver, Canada. Together they aim to spread a positive message through their music, and they look forward to sharing their music with you.
